we do
Conscious Innovator Awards
Every year, design students pour months of research, experimentation, and craft into a single thesis or capstone project. It's the fullest expression of everything they've learned, yet it rarely gets seen beyond campus.
Rather than rewarding one-off wins, we wanted to create a platform that recognises new talent who will shape the industry next.
These awards are a rare, ideal opportunity for design, engineering, and innovation-led institutes to put their strongest graduating projects in front of the people who matter — with real feedback, astute mentorship, and critical industry visibility.
Industry Immersion
The Immersion Program brings selected students into Godrej to experience how design operates across businesses. Over two days, participants engage with teams across design, engineering, and manufacturing, gaining a working understanding of how ideas move from concept to production.
The program focuses on process, collaboration, and systems. It offers direct exposure to how decisions are made, how constraints are addressed, and how design translates into products at scale.
Godrej on Campus
Through campus visits, Godrej Design Lab engages directly with design institutions across the country. These interactions include lectures, portfolio reviews, and conversations with students and faculty.
The aim is to build a dialogue around design practice, share perspectives from industry, and understand how emerging designers approach their work. These engagements help connect academic exploration with professional practice.
