Godrej Design Lab
Conscious Innovators

This new recognition platform celebrates India's most promising design graduates — and the ideas that could change how we live.
Every year, design students across the country pour months of research, experimentation, and craft into a single thesis or capstone project. It's the fullest expression of everything they've learned, yet it rarely gets seen beyond campus.
Rather than rewarding one-off wins, we wanted to create a platform that recognises new talent who will shape the industry next.
The time to celebrate the future of design is now.
This is the opportunity for design, engineering, and innovation-led institutes to put their strongest graduating projects in front of the people who matter — with real feedback, astute mentorship, and critical industry visibility.

Helping talent shine
Built to support the move into industry
Since its inception, Godrej Design Lab has steadfastly focused on strengthening the Indian design ecosystem by highlighting talent destined to change and shape the industry. We believe it was now time to shine a deserving light on the best rising talent in India transitioning from university into industry.
This award – our way of bringing the most promising design graduates into a visible, curated forum for recognition, feedback, and industry exposure.
For this award, schools drive applications.
Empowering schools to advocate for their students
We believe that schools and their faculty are best positioned to identify great work and great talent, encompassing and balancing a whole host of factors that might not fit fully within a student-led application.
For our submission process, we ask for institutes across India to submit their best graduation projects.
Are you a student? Ask your faculty to participate!
