Wild Tamil Nadu

By Sundaram Fasteners, Tamil Nadu Forest Department & Nature inFocus

The first 4K blue-chip documentary on the biodiversity of Tamil Nadu.

Step into a Tamil Nadu that lies beyond cities and monuments, a land where elephants move like dusk-shadows through ancient forests, flamingos rise in pink clouds over mirrored wetlands, and fireflies set the night aglow. Wild Tamil Nadu is a sweeping, cinematic journey across one of India’s most biodiverse states, capturing mist-laden mountains, roaring waterfalls, coral reefs, grasslands, and coastlines in breathtaking detail.

Created by Kalyan Varma and Rohit Varma, and produced by Arathi Krishna (Managing Director, Sundaram Fasteners), the film is a CSR initiative by Sundaram Fasteners in collaboration with the Tamil Nadu Forest Department and Nature inFocus. Its world-class visuals are set to an original score by three-time Grammy Award winner Ricky Kej and narrated by acclaimed actor Arvind Swamy.

More than a documentary, Wild Tamil Nadu is a celebration of kinship, between people, culture, and the wild. It invites us to rediscover the state as a living ecosystem where heritage and wilderness are intertwined, and where conservation is, ultimately, a story of belonging.
