SEEDS Climate-Resilient Shelter for Coastal Communities

The exhibit will focus on SEEDS' integrated approach to strengthening coastlines by combining resilient housing with mangrove plantation to reduce climate risks and protect vulnerable communities.

Architecture and design can play a pivotal role in building a more sustainable world and increasing resilience in the face of the climate crisis. Within these fields, and in line with the ethos of the Conscious Collective, the ICC proposes creating cohesive narratives around climate action through three themes: Nature-based Solutions, Built Environment and Materials. Together, these themes cover the ambit of sustainable architecture, from the built environment we inhabit, to the natural world outside of that which we engage with, and the materials that these comprise of.
